Ranked alongside MIT and Stanford as one of the most innovative institutions in the country, Georgia State is on the move and on the rise. Few institutions have come so far, so fast.
We’ve proven that students from all backgrounds can succeed at the same level. We have one of the fastest growing research profiles in the country. We are changing the way our students are learning, helping them graduate faster, be more productive and save millions on the pathway to their degrees. It’s no wonder The Washington Post called us a
“hotbed of growth and innovation.”
Think you know Georgia State? Think again.
What we’re doing next
President Mark Becker sees Georgia State as Atlanta’s version of New York or Northeastern universities, where a once relatively barren part of the city is full of life again: “Those are the two in my mind that, looking over the last 30 years, have gone from being a part of the city that was struggling to being a part of the city that’s thriving, and the university is part of that energy, that momentum, that positive activity. And I think Georgia State is on that same trajectory.”
